Dry Gas Seal to Power Generator Feasibility Study
Executive Summary
The scope of the potential pilot project considered by the feasibility study is to design and install a system that will capture the DGS primary vent for use elsewhere within the station. The system would control the vent flow so that a steady supply of fuel is provided to a newly installed power generator, with no recompression required. To ensure a steady supply of fuel, make-up gas from the existing fuel gas system would be used when required. The power generator would then power an existing, non-critical load onsite. Any excess gas would be directed to an enclosed vapor combustion unit (EVC).
