Executive Summary
With the closing of the Canadian Oil Sands Network for Research And Development (CONRAD) in early 2013, PTAC was the facilitator of choice to take over the Froth Treatment Consortium (FTC). The FTC was responsible for the development of PFT at FT Facility enabling commercial implementation, and also the optimization of separation processes to reduce BS&W.
